For best results, scan at 600 DPI or higher. If you do not have a scanner, a well-lit phone photo of the print also works; just avoid glare and keep the phone parallel to the image.

The upscaler reduces the visibility of minor damage by intelligently filling in surrounding detail. For heavy damage like tears or water stains, combining upscaling with dedicated restoration tools yields the best results.
